I would also add that the YouTube Music integration with Google assistant is rough. Attempting to get the assistant to shuffle your liked songs (an auto generated “station”) will often search YouTube proper and return ridiculous results. Google play music handles that all perfectly.

Also, integration with Bluetooth for people who use it in car without Android auto is super rough. Google play music, Spotify, deezer, pocket casts, whatever would show the play list, song title, album, etc using the basic Bluetooth profiles on most cars. Youtube music shows nothing. Its really bad.

For me my car commute is one of the main ways I listen to music. Youtube music is just super hard to use in the car.
